At RS Homes, we have a “triple bottom line” approach to sustainability – one that accounts for the environment, the economy, and people’s social well-being.
For this reason, we were excited to find ourselves positioned next to Habitat for Humanity at the Interior Design Show earlier this year. An important conversation followed, on how RS Homes might contribute to this stellar organization.
Since that time, we’ve been supporting Habitat’s cause by donating good quality salvaged material from homes we are renovating or demolishing throughout the GTA, such as the kitchen cabinetry and counters seen below. These useful items, which would otherwise have gone to landfill, will now help families in need to furnish their homes at affordable prices. In this way, RS Homes is proud to contribute to better social, economic, and environmental outcomes.
