We have had the privilege of working with RS Homes on some wonderful projects.
The most recent is a beautiful stately home inspired by French Chateau architecture.
As is often the case with custom built homes, the client had a variety of items on their ‘wish list’. The unifying theme was the desire that the interior be infused with modern elements, while still maintaining some classic architectural detailing, to relate to the exterior.
We worked closely with RS Homes and their client to coordinate their inspirations, and provide a cohesive and clear vision for the interior, through carefully planned floor plans/furniture layouts & reflected ceiling plans/lighting layouts and other design drawings. The home was developed around a unique entry stair image brought to us by the clients. Its style and detailing provided the framework around which we worked to reinforce the clean and strong design direction, in both dramatic and subtle references throughout the house.
Additional key design elements we focused on were the kitchen & servery designs, custom millwork/cabinetry designs, fireplace feature walls, the powder room, master bedroom & ensuite, and the lower level entertainment areas. Interesting bespoke detailing and the specification of luxe treatments & finishes were essential in completing the expression & fulfillment of the client’s desires for their new home.
