We make custom homes-tailored to suit your ideals. You might come to us with a detailed vision, designed by your own professionals, or you may come initially for help to begin: to make a start and we will then assemble a design team that fits your needs. Every step of the way, we provide expertise and guidance that will make your custom home building experience with us educational, beneficial and enjoyable. We’ll make you feel at home!

During the construction phase, unexpected challenges can and will happen. This is all in a day’s work for RS Homes. Our goal, as ethical business people, is to minimize these distractions and smooth the process as much as possible for your peace of mind.

Your home will be built using many professional people from designers, carpenters, electricians, painters to plumbers; an array of components and a variety of materials. You can be confident knowing that most of these tradespersons have worked with us for over a decade, that all are professional and experienced. We have relationships with the best material suppliers in the business. However, at every occasion, it is your input that counts, and we are always open to discussion, change, and any other needs that may arise to resolve the process to your satisfaction.

Step One

Together, we have a preliminary discussion about the home you would like to build, the location, specific expectations you may have, the budget, and any other related concerns. We will brief you about the Tarion warranty. Then we will discuss in detail the following steps, so you know the direction we will be following.

Step Two

You will need to decide on a plan for your home. If necessary, we can work with our in-house architectural, engineering, and design professionals. Alternately, you may bring in your own plans and we will work with you and your designer to make that dream home a reality. We will discuss any special requirements from an architectural or site-related perspective.

Step Three

We determine the cost through discussion of your home plans and any anticipated alteration you would like made. We review everything you want to incorporate to make it a true custom home, distinctly yours.

Step Four

Following the execution of a contract, we commence construction, providing you with scheduled updates to keep you informed at every stage.

Step Five

With the building of your home in progress, you can begin to make decisions about brick/stone, electrical, plumbing, flooring, countertops, cabinets, hardwood, and other essential details and choices.

Step Six

Finally, we walk you through your home, provide you with manuals, highlight technical features, present the Tarion warranty, and fulfill the inspection procedures.

Step Seven

Our commitment has been given and will be maintained as your builder, friend, and we remain readily available for you to call upon. Your close friends may have questions once they have seen your new home. We are happy to answer them as well! Nothing speaks louder than a good reference from a happy client!
